안녕하세요. Ms.SSAM이에요.

이제 수능도 끝났고, 남은 건 2학기 기말고사겠네요. 그리고 부모님들은 이제 슬슬 겨울방학 캠프도 고민해보셔야 할 때에요. 겨울방학은 다음 학년을 준비하는 중요한 시간이라는 거 다 알고 계실 거에요. 선행학습으로 다음 학년을 준비하는 것도 좋지만, 스스로 공부하는 습관을 갖게 해주는 것도 좋을 것 같아요. 그래서 나라교육에서 이번 겨울방학에 ‘Why? 자기주도학습캠프’를 준비했어요. 겨울방학 캠프를 고민 중인 분들께 도움이 됐으면 좋겠네요.

대상:   초등학교 4,5,6학년

         중학교 1,2,3학년

 

이번 겨울방학에는 3회에 걸쳐 ‘Why? 자기주도학습캠프’가 진행되는데요. 캠프를 주최하는 나라교육은 지금까지 2회의 자기주도학습캠프를 진행하며 참가 학부모들로부터 큰 호응을 얻었어요. 그리고 이번에는 예림당이 후원을 맡아 함께하게 되면서, 예림당의 4,000만부 판매신화를 자랑하는 ‘Why? 시리즈’의 스토리를 활용한 쉽고 재미있는 교육적 프로그램을 추가했어요. 그 외에도 주입식 학습이 아닌 스스로 효율적인 학습방법을 선택하고 실천하는 과정, 체득을 위한 실천적 프로그램들로 구성됐어요. Why? 자기주도학습캠프는 10명 내외 모둠 운영을 통한 1:1지도, 자기주도학습 전문가 송인섭교수의 자기주도학습 특성검사를 통한 개인별 맞춤 지도, 참가자 전원에게 프로그램 전 과정 1:1 지도 노트를 제공하는 등 다른 캠프와는 확실한 차별점을 가지고 있어요.

참가대상은 초등학교 4,5,6학년과 중학교 1,2,3학년으로 1기당 45명(조별15명 이내)의 소규모로 진행되며 각 모둠은 담임강사 1명 및 대학생 멘토 1명이 담당하게 되요.

Who?

ü  공부에 투자하는 시간과 노력에 비해 결과가 나오지 않는 아이

ü  아직은 상위권이지만 유지하는 걸 힘들어하는 아이

ü  학습에 흥미를 느끼지 못하는 아이

ü  매사에 의욕이 없고 무기력한 아이

ü  학습기술이 부족하여 구체적인 학습 방법을 모르는 아이

 

이번 캠프는 특히 위와 같은 특징을 가진 아이들에게 추천하고 싶어요. 부모님 혹은 선생님께 등떠밀려서 하는 공부로 좋은 성적을 유지하는 데에는 한계가 있어요. 공부를 잘 하고, 좋은 결과를 내기 위해서는 스스로 확실한 목표 의식을 갖는 것만큼 좋은 동기 부여가 없다고 생각 되요. 그리고 혼자 공부하는 방법을 모르는 아이들에게는 어떻게 하면 혼자서도 효과적으로 공부하고, 자신을 컨트롤할 수 있는지 그 방법부터 가르쳐 주는 게 지금 당장 문제 하나 더 맞추는 것보다 중요한 것 같아요. 이러한 문제들을 모두 해결해 줄 수 있는 것이 바로 ‘Why? 자기주도학습캠프’에요. 이번 캠프는 변화된 공통교육과정변경에 따라 진로 적성 탐색의 활동을 바탕으로 단순히 학습 동기, 학습법 교육이 아니라 자신의 적성과 진로, 직업에 대한 탐색 활동을 바탕으로 심화된 자기주도학습 프로그램을 중점적으로 교육한답니다.

What?

그럼 이번 캠프에 어떤 프로그램들이 있는지 몇 개만 살펴볼까요?

(1) 직업 관심 및 직업 관련 활동 분석/ 설계: why 스토리에 나오는 여러 직업에 대해 알아보고 현재 자신이 알고 있는 직업의 이해, 정보 등을 파악하고 미래의 직업을 실현하기 위해 필요한 로드맵 설계 시간


(2) 공부하는 나(공부의 의미 바로 알기): 자신의 미래 꿈(직업)을 탐색하는 과정을 통해 공부의 필요성과 학습 동기 부여 시간


(3) 학습스타일 점검과 공부의 황금 룰: 여러 학습 방법 유형을 통해 자신에게 맞는 학습 방법을 인식하고 공부에서 변화하지 않는 규칙을 찾는 시간


(4) 효과적 암기법 정복하기: 집중력 향상을 위한 방법을 알고 그 방법을 통해 많은 정보를 암기할 수 있는 방법을 인식하는 시간


(5) 자기사명서 작성:　완전 학습을 위해 배워 온 학습 전략들을 지키고 유지하기 위한 자신에 하는 약속을 만드는 시간


(6) 시간 사용 돌아보기: 자신의 생활을 분석하여 자신이 허비하는 시간을 시각화, 객관화하는 과정을 비효율적인 시간 사용을 반성하는 시간


(7) 효과적인 시간 관리와 플래닝:　허비한 시간을 효율적으로 사용하기 위한 전략과 실현 가능한 계획 세우는 방법을 익히는 시간
